A moral theologian in the Anglican tradition, Dr Lucinda Allen Mosher is Faculty Associate in Interfaith Studies at Hartford Seminary, where she teaches courses on America’s religious diversity, comparative theology, chaplaincy in multifaith contexts, and Christian-Muslim relations. Concurrently, she is Assistant Academic Director of the Building Bridges Seminar (an international Christian-Muslim dialogue of scholars) and a member of the faculty of Séminaire de Théologie d’Église Épiscopale d’Haïti. As a Senior Fellow at Auburn Seminary’s Center for Multifaith Education, 1998–2013, Dr Mosher conducted extensive research on how religious leaders-in-training are taught about religious difference. Current clients include Seminary Consortium on Urban Pastoral Education, Istanbul Foundation for Islamic Science and Culture, National Disaster Interfaiths Network, and the Network of Inter Faith Concerns of the Anglican Communion. 

Dr. Mosher is a contributor to many books and the author or editor of ten—including Toward Our Mutual Flourishing: The Episcopal Church, Interreligious Relations, and Theologies of Religious Manyness (Peter Lang, 2012). As well, she has published many articles on multifaith matters generally and Christian-Muslim concerns specifically. An accomplished musician, her workshops and lectures in the US and abroad often combine her expertise in interreligious understanding with her training in theology and the arts.

An Episcopal Church Foundation Fellow, Dr. Mosher holds degrees from Boston University, University of Massachusetts (Lowell), Hartford Seminary, and the General Theological Seminary. She maintains offices in Hartford, Connecticut, and Doctors Inlet, Florida.
